Naomi Warren is an advocate for social justice. After graduating from Wellesley College in 2002 with a B.A. in Psychology and Spanish, Naomi spent two years working with the Latino community in Indiana - first, with a statewide nonprofit organization focusing on health issues and then in the public schools as a bilingual resource specialist. In 2004, Naomi began a dual graduate program in social work and law at Washington University in St. Louis. She earned her M.S.W. and J.D. degrees in 2008.

During her graduate studies, Naomi spent a summer in Accra, Ghana, working for a non-governmental human rights organization, and a semester studying race relations and working for a children's rights organization in Durban, South Africa. She was a legal intern with the Southern Poverty Law Center in Montgomery, Alabama; the Federal Public Defender in Eastern Missouri; and Interfaith Legal Services for Immigrants in St. Louis. She also worked on immigration advocacy through her participation with the Civil Rights and Community Justice Clinic at Washington University. Upon graduating, Naomi was awarded the Jack Garden Humanitarian Award, honoring her contributions to the law school and the community.

After being admitted to the Illinois State Bar in 2008, Naomi moved to Michigan to help coordinate an after-school intergroup dialogue program for high school students that focused on critical consciousness development and social justice action. She also taught courses at the University of Michigan School of Social Work on intergroup dialogue facilitation, multicultural organizing, and social change. She returned to St. Louis in 2011 and is looking forward to continuing her social justice work in this community.
